The first round of the 2024 NFL draft has come to an end, and it's time to look ahead to Day 2. With several talented prospects still available, there is plenty of intrigue surrounding which players will be selected on Friday.
One of the most anticipated positions to watch on Day 2 is quarterback. With five promising signal-callers still on the board, teams will be eager to add a franchise leader. According to our latest NFL mock draft, Michael Penix Jr. and Bo Nix are projected to be taken in the second round.
The Carolina Panthers, who missed out on a quarterback in the first round, are expected to target Jordan Morgan out of Arizona in the second round. Morgan, a 6'8" tackle, would provide the Panthers with much-needed size and protection for their new quarterback.
