Belgium registered their first win at Euro 2024 with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Romania in their Group F opener on Tuesday. Youri Tielemans opened the scoring inside the first two minutes with a superb strike from outside the box, and Kevin De Bruyne doubled the lead just before the half-hour mark. Romania offered little in response and Belgium could have won by a bigger margin had it not been for some fine saves from Florin Niță.
