Kentucky is one of the most storied programs in college basketball history, having won eight national championships. The university has also produced numerous NBA stars, including John Wall, Anthony Davis, and Karl-Anthony Towns.

Hurley's Success at UConn

Hurley has established himself as one of the most successful coaches in college basketball. He led UConn to its first national championship in 2022 and followed it up with another title in 2023. He has a career record of 257-126 and has been named the National Coach of the Year twice.

Kentucky's Offer to Hurley

According to reports, Kentucky offered Hurley a lucrative contract to become its next head coach. However, Hurley has reportedly turned down the offer, citing his commitment to UConn and his desire to continue building the program there.
