Historic Vehicle Registration Requirements
Maryland
Historic tags are designated for vehicles at least 20 years old and maintained primarily for use in exhibitions, parades, tours, and similar events.
To obtain a historic registration, the vehicle must be 25-calendar years old and older with a GVWR over 10,000 lbs. The title issued in Maryland can be used as the application for titling and registering the vehicle.
