Black Stars players need to adapt to Inaki Williams and utilize his qualities more – Otto Addo
Ghana coach, Otto Addo has called on his players to adapt to the style of play of new teammate Inaki Williams and utilize his qualities more.
Inaki Williams made his debut for the Black Stars in the 0-0 draw with Nigeria in an international friendly at the Cape Coast stadium on Friday night.
While he showed glimpses of his quality, the Athletic Bilbao forward was not able to make a significant impact on the game as the Black Stars failed to create many clear-cut chances.
Speaking after the game, Addo said he was happy with Williams' performance but admitted that the team needs to do more to get him involved in the game.
"Inaki is a good player and he showed his quality tonight," Addo said. "But we need to do more to get him involved in the game. We need to adapt to his style of play and utilize his qualities more."
Addo said he believes that Williams can be a valuable asset to the Black Stars and he is confident that he will be able to improve his performance in the future.
"I am confident that Inaki can be a valuable asset to this team," Addo said. "He is a good player and he is still young. I am sure that he will be able to improve his performance and become a key player for us."
